Steve has over 27 years experience teaching English Language and Academic Writing in different countries around the world. Steve is an Associate Professor in Academic Literacy Education at the Faculty of Education, Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is author of Academic Writing: Making the Transition, published by Pearson Education, Canada, and other publications in academic journals and books.
Steve has an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a Ph.D from UCL Institute of Education, London (ranked World Number 1 for Education in the 2014 QS World University rankings!)
